Women’s Circle has been meeting nearly 40 years. It started out as “Young Wives” in September 1970 and has matured into the present Women’s Circle. We meet fortnightly from September to April with a variety of speakers, slide evenings, demonstrations and entertainment. We have a charity for the year and raise money through coffee evenings etc. Previous charities we have supported include the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Brunswick Organic Nursery, Assistance Dogs, Martin House Hospice and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.
