In the summer of 2010 the church closed its premises for 5 months to allow extensive alterations and upgrading. This includes a new heating system, improved facilities for disabled people, flexible seating and state of the art audio-visual facilities. The details are set out in our Business Plan.
The structural work has now been completed and the church re-opened in time for the 2010 Christmas Tree Festival. There is still a busy programme of fund-raising to clear the outstanding debt, but the new facilities are proving their worth. We hope they will be of service to groups in the community, and not just to the church.
